What we do

Services

Residential and light commercial drywall, from one patched hole to a full basement.

01

Hang

Walls and ceilings for basements, additions, remodels and new construction, hung on framing that's already in place. Moisture-resistant board for baths and laundry rooms.

02

Finish

Tape, mud and sand to paint-ready. We explain finish levels so you know what you're paying for, up to a level 5 skim where lighting is harsh.

03

Repair

Holes, cracks, nail pops, dented corner bead and damaged sections, including the small blocking a patch needs. For water damage, the leak gets fixed first.

04

Ceilings & texture

Ceiling patches, sagging board replacement and texture matching (orange peel, knockdown), so repairs disappear into the rest of the room.

05

Popcorn removal

Scrape, repair and refinish to a smooth ceiling. Older popcorn texture can contain asbestos, so we need a lab test first. Here's why.

06

Builders, landlords & commercial

Hang-and-finish subcontracting for builders and remodelers, turnover repairs for rentals, and offices, retail and tenant build-outs. Send plans or a scope for a written number.

How it works

Four steps. No surprises.

  1. Tell us about the job

Use the form below or email us. Photos and rough measurements help a lot. Small repairs can often be quoted from photos alone.

  2. Get a written quote

For bigger jobs we visit and measure. You get an itemized quote listing scope, materials, finish level and schedule. Estimates are free.

  3. We do the work

Floors and furniture get covered and dust is contained. Any change to the scope is written down and approved by you before extra work starts.

  4. Final walkthrough

We walk the finished work with you and fix anything that isn't right before we call the job done.

Our standards

Trust gets earned.

We're a new business. Here's what we hold ourselves to on every job.

  • Honest pricing

The price in your written quote is the price you pay, unless you approve a change in writing first.

  • No pressure

No "today only" deals and no high-pressure sales. Take the time you need to decide.

  • Real photos, real reviews

We only show photos of our own work and reviews from real customers. We never write, buy or filter reviews.

  • Safety rules followed

Older homes can have lead paint or asbestos. We follow the rules that apply and tell you up front if a job needs something we can't provide.

  • Straight answers

If a job isn't a good fit for us, we'll say so and point you in a better direction.

  • Your information stays private

We use your contact details only to handle your request. Privacy policy.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What areas do you serve?

All of Metro Detroit. Not sure if you're in range? Call, text or email and ask.

Are estimates really free?

Yes. Written estimates are free and come with no obligation. Small repairs can often be quoted from photos, so you don't have to wait for a visit.

Can you drywall my whole basement?

Yes. We hang and finish drywall on framing that's already in place, from a single room to a full basement. Framing new walls is carpentry, which is a separately licensed trade in Michigan, so if your project needs new framing, we work alongside your builder or carpenter.

How much does drywall work cost?

It depends on the square footage, ceiling height, finish level, access and whether it's new work or a repair. We don't quote a flat number before seeing the job. Every quote is written and itemized so you can compare it fairly with others.

How soon will I get my quote, and how can I pay?

You'll get a written quote within 2 days of the estimate visit. We accept card, cash and Zelle.

How long does a typical job take?

Hanging is usually quick. Finishing takes longer because each coat of joint compound needs to dry before the next one. Most single rooms take several days from start to paint-ready. Your quote includes a schedule.

How messy is it?

Sanding makes fine dust, so we cover floors and furniture, seal off the work area with plastic where needed, and clean up at the end of every day.

Why do you need an asbestos test before removing popcorn ceilings?

Popcorn ceilings and some older wall textures and joint compounds, especially from before the mid-1980s, can contain asbestos. You can't tell by looking, and scraping or sanding it can release fibers that are dangerous to breathe.

So before we remove or sand old texture, an accredited asbestos inspector takes a small sample for a lab test. Results usually take a few days. If the result is negative, we do the removal. If it's positive, removal has to be done by a licensed asbestos abatement contractor, and then we can handle the new drywall and finishing. Please don't scrape or sand it yourself before it's tested.

My home was built before 1978. Does that matter?

Homes built before 1978 may have lead paint. Federal rules require an EPA lead-safe certified firm for jobs that disturb more than about 6 square feet of painted surface per room. Tell us the year your home was built and we'll tell you up front how that affects your job.

Do you work with contractors and landlords?

Yes. We take hang-and-finish subcontracts from builders and remodelers, take commercial work, and do repair and turnover work for rental properties. Email plans or a scope for a written number.

Do you move outlets, switches or pipes?

No. Electrical and plumbing work in Michigan needs a licensed electrician or plumber. We cut and patch around boxes and fixtures, and we're happy to coordinate with your electrician or plumber so the walls close up on schedule.
